Key features of SW-Lookup®
Basically, SW-Lookup® provides a very simple and affordable means of querying your valuable data from small-sized and/or slow
workstations on an arbitrary network. This may be LAN or WAN. The newest release provides, in addition, the ability to update
alphanumeric data in the database.
These are the key features:
-
Full text search: Search global for Objects using full text search algorithm
-
Table search: Search in a single table, where you may use a dbase-like approach of range search for
numeric and date fields (simply fill in the fields from...to)
-
Graphics output:Output search results via HTML tables with links to arbitrary views configurable for each object class,
arbitrary layouts using all ACEs and even user-defined visibility with a single click.
-
Easy configuration:Configure visibility and names of any data field independent of the database.
-
Data update: By simply declaring fields as writable, allow updating alphanumerical data with full
regard to the GIS authorisation.
-
Report support: Output of reports which are generated using the Smallworld® GIS report generator when using table search.
-
Extensibility: Using the simple API, realise processes to track workflow, e. g. for planning regular maintenance of
your objects.
